Her dad, Henry Shum, has spent more than 45 years as a jeweller — trained since arriving in Australia in 1975, trusted enough in his career to service watches including Rolex, Omega and many more. No one else in the family had picked up where he'd leave off, and Em wasn't ready to let that happen.

Waimun didn't need convincing. The idea of carrying something forward — building something that would still mean something generations from now — was the whole point.
